The Year was 2110

The year was twenty-one hundred and ten when we were attacked by unknown aliens,
they were planning to enslave us and make us care for them.
We had to join together then, to repel the invading aliens,
our world became united, for this was a war we had to win.

Americans, Russians, Arabs, Asians, Indians, blacks and whites,
all nations fought together to preserve their way of life.
Eventually, we did prevail, and we learned to cherish “Mother Earth.”
We realized we need each other, so peace could be preserved.

There are no more guarded borders or weapons to disband,
we all agreed to share the wealth and to formulate a plan.
We never could be certain if we’d be invaded once again,
so we chose to work together for the brotherhood of man.

We learned some hard earned lessons and the world has changed since then,
one event we won’t forget is the year twenty-one hundred and ten.
