Bartolomé Esteban Murillo
(1618 – 1682)
A Spanish Baroque painter. Although he is best known for his religious works, Murillo also produced a considerable number of paintings of contemporary women and children.

A Dutch draughtsman, painter, and printmaker. He is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history.

A German painter of the late 19th to early 20th century. He is best known for his many paintings depicting the life of Jesus Christ.
Carl Heinrich Bloch (1834 – 1890)
A Danish painter. He was then commissioned to produce 23 paintings for the King's Chapel at Frederiksborg Palace. These were all scenes from the life of Christ which have become very popular as illustrations.
