Beckoning Tree
Beckoning tree whispering its
welcome with yearning rustling
to the itinerant birds at nightfall,
offering them tranquil shelter.
How gentle is its loving caress?
How its enfolding leaves lull its
weary guests to trustful repose.
How majestic it stands,
accommodating and mindful
of its unwavering expression
of selfless devotion.
